Operator cabins for overhead crane

Technical characteristics:

Overhead (bridge) crane - is a type of crane with load bearing of spans in which the hook is moving along the girder that runs along of two widely separated rails.

The most common overhead crane use is in the steel industry. At every step of the manufacturing process, until it leaves a factory as a finished product, steel is handled by an overhead crane. Raw materials are poured into a furnace by crane, hot steel is stored for cooling by an overhead crane, the finished coils are lifted and loaded onto trucks and trains by overhead crane, and the fabricator or stamper uses an overhead crane to handle the steel in his factory. The automobile industry uses overhead cranes for handling of raw materials.

 Supporting overhead cranes:

Manual single-girder and double-girder hook used for lifting and moving cargoes in the moments of periodic works, absence of power current supply in warehouses, installation and repair workshops, in the machine rooms of power plants.

Electrical hook loader single-girder used for lifting and moving cargoes in the plants and warehouses, as well as double-girder used in open areas.

Electrical magnetic cranes used for lifting and moving products from ferrous metals with magnetic properties.

Clamshell bucket cranes are designed to lift and move bulk cargoes.

Electrical hook loader heavy cranes designed to move large mass cargoes of the mechanical and assembly plants. In addition, they can be used for assembly and repair works.

Overhead bridge cranes:

Manual single-girder single-span cranes designed for lifting and handling cargoes with periodic works, absence of power current supply in warehouses, assembly and repair workshops, in the machine rooms of power plants.

Electric single-girder single-span cranes, two-span cranes are designed to lift and move cargo in covered production and storage rooms. Allowed to use for transportation of hot and molten metal, liquid slag with decreasing load by 25% to meet the requirements of the "Rules for Cranes" (installing reflective displays and having two brakes on the lift mechanism).

Equipment of control cabins for foundry cranes:

  1. Construction of crane cabin is made of steel pipe sections welded together.
  2. Indoor and outdoor construction crane control cabin is made of steel sheet, 2.5 mm thick, forming a strong element.
  3. The cavities are filled with insulation (mineral wool) with a thickness of 50 mm.
  4. The floor is made of multilayer removable panels and covered a dielectric mat. Cables and wires lay under the floor. In the space provided for the underground tunnel for cable needed to connect electrical equipment in operator control unit.
  5. The windows are made of transparent glass triplex.
  6. Provided the opening of the upper front window and upper side windows on the gas springs. Glass mounted inside the control cabin with the pressure angles, allows an easy replacement of glass. Privacy applies to all windows triple protection along the perimeter of the crane cabin.
  7. Protective grille on the lower glasses consists of two parts: the upper - removable to allow cleaning the glass, lower - not removable.
  8. Ceiling lamp 2 * 18W with switch, 220 V lamp connected by wires, which are brought under the floor.
  9. Possible lacquering and painting at the option of the Customer in accordance with the classification of colors RAL. According to GOST: the outer surface - yellow RAL 1003, interior - gray RAL 7047.

Possible options of control cabins for foundry cranes:

  1. Heating: air curtain (3 kW, 220V) or fan heater (2х2kW, 220V or 2x2kW, 380V).
  2. Document pocket.
  3. Metal thermos for drinking with fastening.
  4. Windshield wiper with washer tank on the front window, extra installation on the side windows.
  5. Sun rolled curtains on all the upper windows.
  6. Radio, CD-player.
  7. Additional sockets.
  8. Intercom.
  9. Bell loud fight.
  10. Safe load indicator.
  11. Convertible seat of trainee.
  12. The pedal enabling sound alarm.
  13. Limit switch locking wicket of entrance platform.
  14. Control joysticks and other elements of command and control provided by the Customer in accordance with the electrical circuit.
  15. Indication panel on the rotary bracket.
  16. Metal first aid kit with a set of medicines.
  17. Operator control unit KP-4-250.
  18. Coat hook.
  19. Fire extinguisher with bracket.
  20. Climate control system with special air conditioning on 3kW, 380V.
  21. Removable side platform.
  22. Entrance platform with a wicket.
  23. Electrical cabinet according to information provided by the Customer electric scheme.
